November 3, 2005 : CMAT is very pleased to announce today that it has been awarded over $190,000 in funding for two of its projects as part of the fund matching program through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in Hull , Quebec . The funds will be used to support medical teams of physicians and nurses to relieve exhausted medical staff at Islamabad hospitals, as well as to staff a CMAT field hospital being established in Muzzaffarabad and other quake devastated areas in northern Pakistan.

December 30, 2004 – CMAT consulted today with its medical team and CMAT Chairman to reassess its emergency relief efforts in Asia. Relief efforts have so far focused on Sri Lanka which sustained major devastation and over 28,000 deaths, and CMAT has air shipped three skids of medical supplies to its partner in the region.
